Thanks for the reckoning, Blur. Some of these folks will likely be pulled away by the Jan 8th dyno day in Monroe. But we are on in Tacoma rain or shine. I have asked a head expert to come-by for those interested in the more technical side. He ports mostly multi valve heads and intakes for Mini's, Alphas, BMW's, etc, but he used to do pushrod engines, and still does occasionally. I thought he would be a good person to ask since we'll have mod motor guys around. He showed me what to do on my P heads. With a stock cam and injectors that car has run a 12.66.

Another reminder, if you want an A/F reading get your bung welded in before the 15th. Welding bungs takes so long it would make everyone wait. Out of consideration to fellow Stang owners, do this early. If you use your 02 bung, you'll get an accurate reading at wide open throttle only.

Just got off the phone with Doug, real nice guy. About the sniffer, he doesnt use one. He said if you want to get AF that to give him a call to get a bung welded in, its about $35 to get done depending on how difficult it is to reach. Also, if you are unable to get a bung welded in, then he will use an available O2 sensor that is reachable for the dyno run and plug your factory O2 back in when complete. Its highly recommended to get a bung welded in place

I'm actually from Kent/Renton area. Lately I've been driving my 93 Calypso green Saleen clone. Used to prowl around Lacey when I lived there a few years back with it. I'll meet up with whoever wants to for the dyno day cruise down there. Just waitin for my tune.

Do we need to bring parts to get a bung welded in? Or do they provide everything.

Please read my posts. Out of consideration for all people who are trying to get on the dyno, we are asking everyone to get bungs welded ahead of time. Otherwise you will hold up the parade. Doug at Fair Lady has the bungs if you want to go early and get it done by him. Just phone him at 253 565 9823.

He wont be doing any welding of bungs on the dyno day he said. However, he will do them before the dyno day and it includes all the parts. Yours would be 35 tyler, I know how your setup is. Maybe randys off road can do them up here for you

Greg - AKA - Mystic, I think that we are going to meet up at jakals for breakfast.....ok???

So I can get a wideband bung welded in on the dyno day?? Wouldn't that hold up everyone and take a long time??

How much would he charge to tune my car a little bit? Or will that have to be taken care of another time when no one is there.... so we can get as many runs in as possible.

I think Dandy has a good idea there. There might be too many people dynoing to the point where some of us might not be able to get some tuning in. never been to a dyno day so I don't know what it's like. so maybe we'd be able to get some tuning in at the dyno day rate at another time?

so do I have to call the guy up to get some pricign on the tuning? I gotta know ho wmuch to save up.

could he fix my h pipe leak that's pissing the hell out of me?

lol

yeah so i guess i am coming to this one instead of the marysville one... and i like the roundup summary by the red blur... awesome dude

Ok, finally registered here. I'll make an appointment to get the bung done next week. Breakfast is a go for those interested-just need to know how many-send an e-mail through this site and I'll send directions.
