Miami, Ok
in the pouring rain.... ;O
This is why i want a 5.0 or 2.3t, i can only have a small amount of fun when it rains with a 2.3, but i could have fun anytime with a 5.0 or 2.3t.

Well, when you get a 2.3 Turbo, be careful. I was leaving work one night while it was raining and pulled out onto a two-lane, tried to pass somebody going slow so I punched it in second and the back end about kicked out on me

That's why a lot of SVO's are no longer with us. I know I nosed my first SVO into the side of a bridge because I "got on it" to much in the rain combined with a curve just before the bridge. :(

LOL, yeah.

It happend in Des Moines, downtown. I was in a hurry because I was late getting to the air port to pick up my girlfriend who I was marrying in a couple of days after that. Drove the rest of te way to the airport with a smashed front end. I don't know why I didn't get arrested. We then drove to my apartment which was not far fromthe north side of the airport.

Hmm, I didn't realize my "location" had switched back to what it was when I registered. I'm now in Colorado Springs.

Ah another one fleeing the cornfields and hog factories

LOL

When my then girlfriend graduated from ISU in 96, she moved to FL, came back a few months later for the wedding, then I moved to Gainesville with her. New Years Eve '99 we moved to Ohio, a year later we moved back to IA, my dad (general contractor) and I built us a new house, then in 2004 we moved to CO where we had wanted to live all along. :) I would still like to live in SoCal for a while and overseas. If we had a family, there is no question we would want to live in IA, though we'd still prefer to be close toa city like Denver. Wife is a total pro football/baseball nut who has always been a Broncos fan.

What were we talking about again? LOL

That's one of the "problems" with many turbofords, is the power just all of a sudden "hits" so you need to be paying attention when it's slick out.

I left the gas station tonight, water on the road and had to get off of it. I started fishtailing and i wasn't even trying. On dry, I can brake torque one side only, but after having bearings in diff. replaced I don't do this anymore. 4 cyl or not they take the corners nicely.

LOL, In my N/A I regularly squeal tires, I've gone through like 8 pairs (4 front and 4 back). And I've moved onto 4 wheel drifts against my friend in his 5.0 I scare him with how fast and precise I slide the whole car sideways into corners, or even on-coming traffic, Or just riding through traffic like normal I have friends that yell at me to install a handle because they end up screaming like babies after a ride with me. Its awsome to slide the tires though so good going man! :flag: :nice:
