I just put 4.10's in. I happened to look at the gears that came out of the car and they were 3.27's. I even took the ring and divided that teeth by the pinion and I still came out to 3.27. My Saleen is supposed to have 3.55 gear option in it. My window sticker say $875 for the option and my car is supposed to be 1 in 3 with 3.55's and chrome rims in charcoal.

Isn't this a bunch of ****? The differential cover had 3.55 stamped on it though. I wonder is Saleen did this on accident or if this has happened before. I want to call them and bitch, but I'm afraid since i got into the rearand that it will void my warranty.

Nah,

That's nothing new. couple of months ago an 04 rear end was cracked open for new gears ( it was sold with the Max Grip ) but only had tracloc 3.55's.

What year is your car? Did you buy it new? If you bought it used, you can't prove anything but if you bought it new, just get an affidavit form your guy who swapped them, or did you do it yourself, and contact Saleen. Depending on whether they are broke that week they will make it right. Saleen does not tattle tell dealers about cars unless it's something major like a blower-blown-motor issue.

Call them up, bitch, and make them/dealer deal with the issue or give you the money for the option back. Who cares if you got into the rear end, THEY didn't give you what they charged you for, so they need to fix it.

Besides, they can't legally void your warranty. It's illegal. They can DENY you warranty work (unlikely), but they can't deny your overall warranty.

Right.

um yea, There's this thing called "FRAUD" it's when you make someone pay for something they didnt get. So you can be assured they would most likely do something for you. If not. the next call would be from my lawyer.
