I'm having trouble getting a new 28oz flywheel... billet steel one that is. Can I rebalance the 50oz one i already have? Its a new billet steel on also.
It costs a lot to get a re-balance, and good luck finding someone to do it. I have a 28oz billet, that I might trade you or sell, I bought it and used it 5 miles. My "new" motor I got from my "friend" grenaded.
Believe it or not I found a machine shop today that will rebalance it for $45 I called around today at some of our local machine shops and found one...... yahooo!!!!
I don't know if I'd recommend getting it rebalanced, since it's opening up the possibility of them either doing it wrong, or having weight added/subtracted to or from places that could potentially come off. Any experienced machinist should be able to do it correctly, but I guess I'm not one to take chances with things like this. Summit Racing has one for $239 from Ford Racing. Thanks for the reply.,......its allready paid for and they had a hard time finding it. I just got off the phone with them and It was just shipped out. thanks anyway though.
If you need one, I could sell you mine, I'm parting out my car and buying a bike, I've had enough of this POS. It has less than 50 miles, Mcleod billet steel, let me know.
