Just a quick update on on the requested plaque. I recieved an email from Liz the other day saying my plaque is available and being sent.

That girl is awsome! This is the last piece I need aside from the stuff ordered from PAS.

Well, i realize you guys love liz, and she has been very nice to me on the phone, but i've given her more info on xp8's than she has given me.
Maybe that's just a saleen problem, but she runs the team saleen office, and obviously there is a paperwork problem there.
 
Liz has always been cool. I remember back in '95 at Sears Point after a race hanging out near the Saleen hospitality tent. There was a security person at the entrance to the tent and you couldn't get by with out a pass. I was trying to catch a glimpse of Tim Allen. Liz strolled by and noticed I was wearing my Saleen baseball cap. She asked if I enjoyed the race. I said I did and that it was nice to close out the season with a win even though the season didn't go too well. I also mentioned it would be cool to get Tim's autograph on my baseball cap right next to Steve's. She invited us into the tent and allowed us to hang out. I was able to meet Tim Allen and get him to sign my baseball cap. :nice:
 
glad you got your plaque i was just given some ****ty news yesterday about mine

car purchased 5/04 without a center console plaque [car left plant w/o it]
replacement ordered 7/19/04 with other things [floormats, etc]
floormats showed up 4-5 days later, receipt said 'shipped' for the plaque, no plaque in box, cc billed
called that day, spoke to a rep 'not sure why it didnt ship, ill call you back'
no phone call for a week or so
called back, spoke to someone else, was transferred to liz's voicemail, left a message
she called back same day, told me to speak with '__cant remember name__' and he'll tell me whats up
left a message for that guy, heard back 2 days later...yea we have to wait until we get about 10 orders then we fill them and send them out. itll take a little while yet, call anytime we'll tell you the status
called last week 'its not in our system, it shows that it shipped last july, ill look into it and call you back'
no phone call back for a week, called again, 'not sure what happened, gonna get you another one, itll be a few months'
 
This kind of pisses me off. I called about a year or so ago and spoke with some guy at Saleen who told me I was S.O.L. on getting a replacement console plaque for my 93 (mine looks like someone tried to clean it with paint thinner).
How much do the replacements cost, and whats the scoop on getting one?
