Last year when I first started looking into CAI I was told to go with Steeda, but now I'm gonna get one soon, and I just wanted to make sure that that was still my best bet. It won't set off any engine lights though, right? thanks for your help.

This is a personal opinion question I suppose. Where to get a CAI for an 04' GT. I want something that will look good (shiny is good) and won't set of the engine check light. Anyone have ideas?

I have a BBK on my 04, love it. Looks good and no engine check light. and it's
good for 50 extra hp.

o.k, o.k. no extra hp but it looks real perdy.
I forgot, it's a fender well mount and got it from California Mustang about 6 months ago.

Oh sweet jesus...is this going to turn into another debate where I have to show dyno proof?
Stick ot the topic at hand if you don't have evidence to back your statements.

i would love to see the dyno sheet. i have yet to see one where you gain much power on a STOCK car which he has. but i could very well be wrong and would have no problem being proven wrong.

Baseline was with a drop-in (worthless) k&n filter.

those dyno numbers are with the dragon TB and plenium correct?
like i said in my prior post i have yet to see any major gains from a CAI on a STOCK car. which he has. i am just saying i would do other things first (TB and Plenium or an O/R X) before i stuck a CAI on there. just my non professional 2 cents.

be weary on ebay.. I know this doesn't happen to everyone/everytime.. but I thought I was getting used Steeda Sport Springs and I got the factory springs with a coil cut off and painted powder blue.

I've been told to be cautious with e-bay, it is true that you can find some great deals, but then again, anybody can post on e-bay and there are alot of frauds. back to my prvious question, can anyone explain why you would go with a fender mount CAI as opposed to just a normal one?
