Guys,
Can anyone tell me the best replacment radiator for my 94 cobra pace car? I've been looking and want to be sure I'm buying the right thing. I've seen Modines for 119.00 but wasn't sure if it's a direct copy of the OEM. I think the original is a two row. Does anyone know if the replacements are too???

Modines are just stock replacements, but there's nothing wrong with them at all. For the money, its an inexpensive fix. Two of my friends replaced theirs with Modines and are very happy with them... they are both stock, however.

I bought an OEM type radiator from a local radiator shop. It was alot cheaper to buy from them than Auto Zone, Advance, etc...."Who do you think Auto Zone was going to order your radiator from?"....I think I paid 106.00 for a two row looked identical too stock except it has the hook ups for A/T lines....

Which ever one you decide to buy don't waste your money paying someone else to put it in.

I did mine by myself and it was my first time ever working on my own car and it took about 45 minutes.

Easiest job ever!!!!!!

Yeah, get someone who's done it before and you can have the new one fully installed in 10 minutes, I promise you. Its refilling the cooling system which takes a little more patience, but its a no brainer as well.

it sounds like you want the new one to be a direct copy of the OEM. is your goal to stay as stock as possible?

Yup that's the plan. Not a lot of these cars out there. I was even planning on keeping the removed radiator if the next guy who wants the car is that nuts about originals. This car is VERY original.

Of course I'm getting the bug to put in some mild stuff like an air box kit and cat backs, but again, I'll save all the original stuff in the attic (my wife will love that!)

If you want to go budget and stay stock ebay is a great place.
If you want a Fluidyne www.absoluteradiator.com where I got mine with Free shipping for like $337 to my door in 2 days>

Did the ebay search and found some good deals. Also looked at places like radiatorbarn.com and radiators.com. More good prices...My mechanic said about $225 for a modine and 125 for install. I think I'll go with a $119 modine on line and install myself. I'm hearing they're pretty easy to install...yes????
