I lowered my mustang ( little over an inch) and i'm bringing it in for an alignment. What are some optimal caster camber and toe numbers which will give me good tire wear but still have adequate cornering stability? Ford sets it at -.5 camber, + 3.2 caster, and + .25 toe stock... should i go with a little more negative camber for better handling -.8? Or keep it the way ford says..

u can't change the rear that much. but as for the front I would get the TOE to be as close to zero on both sides. as far as caster goes i would just make sure that ur wheels are in the middle of the wheel wells and that they are both even in front. as for caster I have mine set i believe its a positive camber which is when the lower part of the tire is sticking out more than the top but not too much. that should improve your cornering and your lessen the outside tire wear when u corner.

Unless you have aftermarket fully adjustable caster/camber plates, your caster is NON-ADJUSTABLE.

As far as your camber and toe, it is best to keep your alignment fairly close to the stock specifications. You could requestion a slight increase in negative camber if you like for the front tires, such as -0.8 total camber, for a bit better negotiation and handling of turns.
