How will this exhaust perform/sound?

I'm thinking of going Mac Shortys, Flowmaster 40's and GT takeoffs. I did already make this thread, but didn't get a chance to check the responses before the server crashed. Thanks for the help.

BTW: 2000 v6 with the GT takeoffs already on.

Here is my setup and how it sounds. Cost was about $125 which was mainly the new mufflers and install. Yeah...I know that sounds cheap, I found a hole in the wall muffler shop that didn't want to charge me a arm and a leg like some other mainstream exhaust shops wanted to charge. The pipes and tips were part of a "GT Takeoff" system I got for free off another Stang owner. I kept my stock cats.

Don't bother with the Shorties as the stock headers flow well enough and you won't see any gains, if any. The money you save could go toward a cross over with high flow cats instead.

Other than that, the 40's should sound pretty nice.

ChingonStang, do you have flowmaster 40 series on there? and is that on a y, h, or x midpipe?

Flowmaster Deltaflow 40's series. When they did the install, I had them cut the Y pipe and weld the pipes directly behind the cats. So...no Y, H or Midpipe. Ive got a H Pipe from a GT Take off system in the garage...but have not bothered to install it.
