Saleen body kit put on :)

  • Sponsors (?)

Wow... I want to put Saleen ground effects on my car (without decals) but I noticed your rear bumper has quite the "table surface"...! Is this how they are? That's a bit much. I need to look deeper into their stuff.

If you have a "Faleen" shouldn't you take the "Saleen" decals and markings off?

looks totally awesome! best color ever, but please do not put saleen emblems on it... not because of the whole fake-ness-hateness
but because it's your car. no need to brand it after some car tuner that has nothing to do with it, aside from designing the body kit that someone else actually made and then painted and installed... ya know what i mean?

BRAND IT AFTER YOURSELF!

Nice!
just bought and painted mine 2 weeks ago. the graphics and badging really complete the look.. as do the wheels ( which I still need)

nice body kit ;) i can hardly see your exhaust tips though! did you have to get your exhaust redone when you put on your body kit? I had to get my catback redone because the old setup didn't fit my Saleen rear bumper

That is sweet...

If you're into the clone wheels go to www.wheelreplicas.com they have sweet deals on fake white saleen style wheels... Like 560 for the wheels (all 4) or around a grand for wheels and tires (10.5 rears).

i have seriously been looking for Saleen white wheels EVERYWHERE for the last 3 weeks or so! I called wheel replicas as well, and they're out of stock, same with MRT direct, and ebay as well!

HOLY WHEEL GAP BATMAN!!!!

haha just kidding, but you mihgt wanna fix that gap, drop that bad boy down some with some springs, like 1.75" -2" :nice:

Yeah I saw the huge wheel gap. Do you know if adding 18X9's fill up some of the gap? I don't want to lower my car too much, I don't want to be afraid of speed bumps like Hondas. :p

I got the paint job at Earl&Scheib. But don't go there, they don't do good prepping for urethane body kits. My friend got his fiber glass body kit painted there and it was wonderful, though urethane needed some special primer (so the salesman said). Paint job was around $400
:nice: Thanks

Yea I had to unbolt the hanger, and reweld it, also welded on new 3.5 tips.. so it all worked out well, and looks much nicer.

You did all this yourself? I had to cut my tailpipes off and drive without them for a day! it sucked in sound. I asked the guy at the muffler shop to stick out my tips a bit more, but I notice that some like it more "in." I would assume that u like them inwards a lot?
