and....to all those reading this thread....

They are 17" black bullit wheels. In case you dont want to go to ebay and type in the number and all that jazz. They are $469 starting bid and $90 shipping from California anywhere in the US.

Next time, if you post something like this, please add some detail....rather than...

GO here for wheels 59687394. Good deal.

Thats not that great of a deal either. Its not bad though. There are companies out there that sell them for $140-$145 each with free shipping, and gorilla locking lug nuts.

from the auction: Size: 17x9" , +24 mm offset (5.95" backspacing)

Is 5.95" backspacing actually the right backspacing for a 17x9 on a vintage Mustang? I don't think they'll fit '65-'66 cars, but will a 17x9 with 5.95" backspacing fit the front of '67-'68 or '69-'73 cars? The chart I have says no... Anyone know for sure?

70_Nitrous_Eater has 18's but the numbers other than that are similar to what you are asking...

OK, here's a pic of the 70 with 18" chrome bullit's.

rims are 18"x9", tires are 245/40/18's

Picture was taken of the car at factory ride height. I'm in the process of lowering her about 1.5"

Yes, there is 5" of backspacing (5.95b/s with 1" spacer).

However, I think a little more backspacing would be better. 5.5" would be best IMHO. I had a hard time finding spacers less than 1" and when I did find them everyone wanted a premium. So eventually I just bought some cheap 1" spacers locally...

Rears would have worked fine with the 6" of backspacing. It's only the fronts that needed spacers, and you could probably get by with only a .25" spacer on the fronts.
Seems I've been pluggin his car a bit lately.... ahh well, I'm sure he does not mind...
