hey guys, my 99 gt idles pretty bad on random days, sometimes to the point where it stalls itself out. it always starts right back up but i was told it may be the IAC valve. i took some carb cleaner and went to town on it, but it hasnt helped. does it need to be replaced?? will this piece hurt my 1/4 times??

The IAC valve only controls the amount of air getting into the air at closed throttle. Does you car run rough at 650-1000 rpm's? If it does, your IAC is not at fault.

Start with the basics. Clean your MAF/IAT, check plugs & general connections at the coil packs, or anywhere else for that matter.

I would say run the codes, but you damn OBD-II people can't do that as easily as I can.
