How many hrs for KB Install?

  • Sponsors (?)

I can tell you from expierience, me and a couple friends and a cooler full of beer put on a kenne bell on my car in about 9 hours. It was stated earlier that directions are 6 grade level and that is exactly right, EVERY step has a picture...you can not screw it up!!! PM me if you have questions...

:nice:

.. Not to mention the novelty value of being able to say, "I installed that."

There's a lot of people who put these things in themselves, who never read these forums, or read mags like we all do.. they seem to do fine.. we're all lucky to have a wealth of knowledge at our fingertips.. there's hundreds who cruise the boards regularly who could help you if you got hung up on a certain step.. and there are several "how-to" articles online. Then use the money you save installing it yourself to buy yourself something nice, like a giant MAF.

I started at 9am on a saturday worked till 8 pm then started up again on sunday at 8am and was done by 1 pm. so It took me 18hrs all by myself. I did have a friend come over to help put the core in but he left after that.
A shop had quoted me $1000 for the install, I told them to shove it, and saved me 1k bucks :D

Really? Would a 6psi kit with stage 2 blower cams put down about 400rwhp? Thats what Im looking for with the stock block. Sorry for thread hijacking. :D

The price of the cams and springs would amost put you at the cost of the intercooled kit and the intercooled kit will make more power than the 6psi and cams so that would not be a good choice $$$ wise.
