Easy, get the Eibach springs straight out of the Ford Racing Performance Parts catalog..cost is roughly $180..I installed mine in about 1-2hrs. They will drop the car about 1.5"..you'll be very happy with that..(I needed lower so I cut them for closer to a 2-3" drop)
Whats the ride quality like at the 1.5" drop? What about tramtracking (following ruts in road)?

click on my cardomain link, rides awesome, if you go lower than 1.5" plan on some extra parts eventually, if not up front.Good luck pm me if you have any questions. chris
Does anyone have a Cobra with the 1.5" - 2" drop? What all would I need if I were to drop it any lower than 1.5"? What problems may I encounter with this? Thanks
Mr. Noob
The ride quality is no worse that stock, but the ruts on the freeway suck when they get deep. I don't know if that's a function of the springs so much as the tires though.

This is exactly what I did on my wife's car. You can check out the link below for pictures.

A buddy of mine has a 96 that sits lower than ours and his car scraped the H-pipe going up a ramp at the parking garage at Safeco Field this week. No matter how low you go, I'd recommend caster/camber plates. They will allow you much more adjustment range when you get it aligned.
How would the Eibach springs hold up to AutoX? Which Eibach springs in particular? Everywhere I look theres like 3 or 4 different types. Thanks

click on my link, atleast 1.75" front, 1.6" rear. alignment, and possible tire rub. There are some with the stock wheels, and with the saleens. check it out. I needed everything suspension related, in my sig. except for the shocks, and struts, I wanted adjustables.
