i got pulled over by the highway patrol couple of weeks ago for tinted windows. he also mentioned no front lic plate. then he asked questions about my stripes and stang emblem. and then let me go no ticket. never mentioned anyting about sequential tail lights and he must have seen them do to the breaking effect and i also had them on to pull over.

Well I ordered a set from web electric, does this make the front lights flash faster too? I don't want that rice burner real fast blinker look. How fast does it flash on the tails??

Front lights seem to stay the same. Tails aren't slow though. there's video around here somewhere. Definetly enjoying mine. very easy install. :nice:

Sequential Tail Lights

I've been running CDC tail lights since they first released them. They're really easy to install, great instructions, you need to take your time and make sure you don't scratch your tail lights when you remove them laying them on some soft material.

Sequential tail lights have been around for a very long time and are nothing new, they do give your car a special touch..............

They are legal. My Cougar has had sequential signals for 37 years.

But the Cougar did not have sequential brake lights.

Sequential turn signals are OK (and quite nice looking), but just keep away from also having sequential brake lights even when they first illuminate.

Its the sequential brake lights that many people have too, is what will definitely get you into trouble.

No Problems here.. I got mine from a seller on eBay for $45. Took about 45 minutes to install. They blink/flash at the same rate they used to. From inside the car - looking at the blinker on the dash - you can't tell they have been modified at all because the rate of flash is the same.

And yes, they blink a tad too fast for my taste.

IMHO, the ones which try to do a full sequence in the original blink time, are too fast. The ones which do just one stage of the sequence in the original blink time, are better.
