I have a V6 with the Roush springs.. and I'm thinking that over leave, I want to put some “nice” shocks and struts on my car, besides the stock factory crap…possibly a new sway bar as well

Anyhow, what brand to get with the roush springs… tokico, or kyb?

Id like to know what you guys think… trying to get as close to a roush S2 suspension as I can…

Bilstein all the way. They're very expensive, though.

If you're looking to preserve your income, Tokico would probably be your best bet. If I'm not mistaken, you can order tokico shocks from a ford dealership since they were stock on the Mach 1's. I'm not sure of the price difference, but I've seen that tossed around on here several times.

Just put all new on my 96 rag top and after checking prices running the numbers I did Monroe's and got a $60.00 rebate and I am *very* pleased with the ride and handling. Ones that came on it had 116K miles on them so completely shot and after they put new on I thought I had a different Pony ride. Not into high performance so Monroes work for me. Shocks $50.00, struts $80. with $60. rebate, $70.00 not bad plus $100. labor. :)

Must've had then done at Sears??? :nice: . I know we were running that promotion. I didn't see any of the competitors doing it. Monroes Sensatracs are nice and come with a lifetime parts AND LABOR warranty. Can't get much better then that.

I got the Tokico's that were factory on Mach 1's. All four should be about $200 shipped, give or take $20. They are inexpensive, but they are really nice. I installed them a few months ago and love them. Firm, but not harsh. I dont have springs though, so you'll probably like them even better!
