Which plugs for Y-303 heads (Turbo swirls)?

Stock replacements should work just fine...

Do the Y303's use a different casting the the X303/305's? I was under the impression the stock plugs were only for the cast iron Ford heads. On my X305's heads I needed to switch to Motorcraft AGSF32C's...

Hmmm, Mr Yount, the FRPP catalog recommends Motorcraft AGSF-32C, with a longer thread. Believe me, I tried fitting the stockers from my old iron heads, and the plug electrode did not even make it into the combustion chamber. This is of course on my carpet in my room. Don't ask I have too much time on my hands, but I was looking for a way to index the spark plugs that way, to sort of mark them so that when I am installed them later I wouldn't have to do it the hard way, but amazingly when threaded, all of the electrodes ended up just like they should, facing the exhaust valve. I dunno, must be luck or good engineering  . :canada: , eh?

Shows you how much I know - I've never changed mine; ran them (Y) heads with the plugs that came in them - they came off a crate motor that had not been started. Thanks for teaching me something - I'll have to actually pull mine and see what's in there. My 'assumption' was wrong....gotta go clean the egg off my face...

Hey that's cool, mea culpa accepted, "dust yourself off and try again..." Anyhow, with the amount of good knowledge you dispense around here, :hail2: , Professor Yount
.
PS, I just saw a black mid-90s 740 sedan with a 5.0, true sleeper in the best sense.
