Just Installed K&N Aircharger Kit on the mustang and she runs so much better. I can definitely tell a difference performance wise. The kit was sent to me for free because I let them run test on the car for prototyping. I think the kit runs around $400 dollars.

Mods include:
K&N aircharger kit
Steedas underdrive pullies
Steedas Tri-Ax shifter
Custom 3 in. flowmaster catback
Off road X-pipe
SCT tune

some people have noticed that it doesnt run as good when gas tank is low... would you say that you have noticed this too?

What the heck does this mean? I hope you are not trying to say that the car's fuel level determines performance with use of a "cold air intake".

If anybody buys that kit at the list price they are getting horribly ripped off. I would never suggest this "kit" over any of the others already available.

I will suggest that you sell it to someone willing to buy it and get yourself the JLT "CAI" and combine it with a Diablo Tune.

That looks real good and clean, any word on retail availability or is out allready

check out my thread on "why plastic CAI" that your photo prompted me to post

I just ordered this same kit earlier this week, so it should be here next week. I am going to have it installed next Saturday. I did not pay anywhere near $400.00. I paid 199.99. I do not want to have to go through a retune. I also just put on the Flowmaster axle back kit. Awsome sound and the car is a little quicker as well. I definetely recommend it.

I've been looking around and the cheapest i could find it was $259.99...can you provide a link to where you found it for $199?

I don't understand why you don't think it makes sense, when the fuel level is low, the engine management leans out the fuel pressure to conserve fuel, limiting WOT fuel delivery, so that the fuel pump does not scavange empty air, resulting in bubbles in the fuel line.

My honda V-tec would do it, as well as my Mazda 6. Either by limiting the fuel pressure or retarding the spark to limit the performance. anything less then 1/16th seemed to affect the performance.

Hey,

Checked out the kit. Good price but why does it state off-road kit? Does this installation violate the warranty?

Depending on your dealer, anytime you 'tune' the car off stock you violate the warranty.

Myself, I ordered the 90mm MAF CAI from Steeda and it should be in today. They have stated it adds 30wrhp to the car with the SCT tune. I got the CAI, Xcal2 with tunes and the PC link kit from them for $700. The Xcal2 will also come in handy when I buy a few more Steeda mods down the line and get some 4.10's and 18" wheels.

Plus if I ever needs to go to the dealer, I can swap out the CAI, re-tune to stock and claim "Ignorance" is they said I mod'd it.
