I just found out last night that a guy I know will give me his 66 coupe for free. It has been sitting in his yard for 6 years. I have no idea of what type of shape it is in. I told him I want to look at it first but even if it is rough I am sure I can sell some of the parts.

I was dating my current girlfriend for about a month when my love for 'stangs became evident, so she went on to tell me that her father owned some storage with an old mustang in it. The guy renting the space had left and never settle with her dad, so it's his car now and he's a foreign car kind of guy so he was gonna give it to me. I went to check it out just for kicks...it's a flawless '67 fastback body that's been worked and is still in primer, 17 inch TT2's all around, and all the glass is in good shape. The dash and headliner are in good shape, but there are no seats and there is no drivetrain. So...what'd I do when he gave me the offer??? took him out to dinner, took the car, and last week asked his daughter to marry me. I wonder which project will be more expensive???

Well, you have the great start of a project-car. :nice: Of course, you're not gonna have a lot of project money once you get married

j/k - Congratulations on both! :D
