I have an '02 GT. What is THE BEST cold air or ram air intake for it? I am also considering the accufab 75mm TB with elbow! I hear this setup flows like nuts!It will be needed when I get my cams! :D
Thanks guys! :flag:

By the way....Don't buy anything MAc, there stuff is cheap garbage! :fuss:

I think K&N is the only one that comes in plastic. The others are metal and so they get hot. I have the C&L setup (pipe, elbow, Acc 75mm TB). I've just painted my pipe and elbow with some DEI HTS silicone paint and it seems to have helped in keeping it a little cooler. But not as cool as a plastic intake would be. I've had the MAC CAI b4 also and it rusted and stayed extremely hot . The only things I like from MAC are the Prochamber and the catback, but even the quality of these two parts is questionable. I just like the sound of both together :nice:.

no problems with mac

I havn't had any problems with my mac, I've had it for about 4 years and no rust, the heat you get with metal isn't going to change the performance much, once the air goes through the plastic the motor heat still raises the temperature, also the other parts I've got from mac are decent quality such as the throttle body, and intake plenum and for the price you can't beat it

Steel rusts..Fact of science!
Get a plastic one (doesnt look as good), or keep the chrome one cleaned weekly!

BBK, Flowmaster, and the others rust too, so its not a "MAC" only thing. U want something not to rust, then go Stainless Steel or aluminum wherever possible!

MAC's durablack coated exhaust systems are awesome for the price!

If you like to keep you car run away from mac products. now if trade up every two years fine.

they will look fine for a wile. anyone who defenends mac products better bring up price and not quality because someone always makes a superior product to them in everthing they make.
