I got to tell you, these things are AWESOME!! I had 245/50/16 Cooper Zeon ZPT, and my car would spin them through 1st, 2nd and 3rd, I could not launch at anything above idle. Now with the 275/50/15 M/T, I can launch at 2000 rpm and the car feels like it wants to lift off the ground. I didn’t even heat them up, and I had them at 30 psi. Dropped the psi to around 16 and 2500 rpm launches where possible, I couldn’t even do a burnout without water. Clearance is very tight, even with the quad shock flipped around there is maybe ½ inch of clearance between the quad shock and tire. Sorry for incoherent rant, but I forgot how much fun it was to have traction. :D I can't wait to see how they hook at the track with a nice burnout and some VHT, any guesses? :)

I was looking at a set of these tires, my traction w/ bfg comp t/a's is horrible. How do they feel on the highway and in corners?

I haven't had these tires on the highway yet, since my tags on my car are expired. At 30 psi coners are fine, at 16 psi anything faster than a 10 mph turn is a little hairy for my taste.

how much did those run ya? and will they clear with the stock suspension set up?

My friend works at Discount tire and was able to get me a real good deal on them, I paid less than $300 for them with tax including mounting and balancing

My supspension is 100% stock, the only issues I has was it the quad shocks.

I have tried the BFGs and IMHO the M/T blows them away. I had to heat the BFGs to launch at 2500 rpm, if no heat was appied they would spin.

Right now, i am running my Nitto DRs and they dont cut it at the track. the best 60' that i have gotten is a measly 1.975. I know that if i got that down to a 1.7, it would take like .4 or more off my time.
thanks for the input on the ETs.

Power is usless w/o traction.

Nitto's may not have the traction of the others but they last almost as long as a regular radial. BFG's are sticky, but they wear out real quick. Two buddies of mine went throught them in under 3500miles. The M/T's I have no idea. I have a set of 26/10.50R15 M/T ET Streets for the back of mine. I got them barley used for a good price, so I grabbed them. I'll probally get some ET Drags for the track and some 275/60R15 M/T DR's for the street.
