well, the sound is F*n amazing, and i couldn't be happier! Stock stereo was ripped out of my 01gt, and all new wires installed. Here's what i got......

Kenwood ddx7015 double din DVD
Polk components db6500 6.5" in front (tweeters on mirror interior)
Polk components db6750 6-3/4" in rear
2- 12" polk mm2124dvc subs in the rear
Obscon double sub box
2- jbl 72.2 II amps for components 100w per ch. each
jbl gt01201.1 II 1200 w mono
Kenwood music keg

Guys.. if you ever need to buy stereo equipment.. look on e-bay... I estimated i saved over $1000 by buying everything off there (all new, and sealed in original boxes).... I actually sat in the car the other day in the driveway and watched a movie

this thread needs pictures. but it sounds like a nice setup.

how much did you pay for the ddx7015? i'm trying to sell mine, and looking for a average price.

i'll try to get some pics soon... I got the ddx through a search on the web, and found it new for $1100. The only real disappointment w/ the kenwood that I found is the owners manual. I've always had pioneer head units, and there is no compararison to the two. The Kenwood head unit is just as user friendly, but it's requires much more "hands on". But who really reads those things anyway? :D Much more fun playin around w/ the remote and the buttons on the touchscreen. :nice:

That's how I do it. Maybe look up how to set the clock. Then I start pushing buttons to see what they do. You learn more that way. Besides, the KW can do something that isn't mentioned in the book. It can play MP3 files burned to DVD. Think about that. An ENTIRE collection of someone's music burned to a single DVD at a decent bitrate. I love it. A DVD will hold approximately 10-11 CD-R's worth of data. I figure I can get away with a visor disc-holder and carry everything I'd ever want to listen to in the car.

ohh.. you lost me there  So what you're saying is that i can burn mp3 formatted songs onto a blank dvd disk? can this be done with a cd burner drive, or do I need a dvd burner?? Just curious even though i have the music keg that holds 2,500 songs

You'd need a DVD burner to pull it off. Do you have the 20GB Keg? That would only hold about 1100 songs at what I would consider an acceptable bitrate- that's why the DVD ability I mentioned is so nice for me.
