So, i just hate the way the 265/35/18 tire i put on my car looks in the rear and i'm gonna do something about it.... I cant decide if i want the 295/35/18 or the 285/35/18 on the rear or not. I've seen both and cant decide what i want to do. BTW, this is on a 18x9" rim. the price difference between a 285 and a 295 is astronomical though!!! I'm thinking i may just go with a 285/35/18, maybe with a Toyo or a NItto 555 Extreme. What do you guys think?

Hmmm. You do know that you can have your choice at 285, then at 295 your choices narrow quite a bit right? Hard to say for me as my rear tire is 295 Toyo T1-S on 18X10. I really like the Nitto 555Extreme tire in 285. good rep, traction and price. If they made 295 if would have went with the Nittos. thats my .02

285/35 is a little taller than stock. 295/35 is significantly taller, so your speedo will be off, and it will look very packed in on a 9" wheel, also not ideal for handling since the sidewalls will be pushed in a bit. If you aren't considering 275's, go with the 285.
