Yes it can be done. Go buy a 1/4" tape kit from a glass shop first. The only thing is to make it look right you need the interior quarter trim panels to go with it or you will end up with an 1 1/2" gap between the glass and the panel. Easy to look in a see your seat belt mechanism. Then you will need 6 fender washer to use on the 3 forward mounting studs on each window on the new quarter glass. 79-86 stangs dont have holes drill in the sheet metal for these studs. The washers will overlap the edge of the sheet metal and hold the glass in. Also you will need to cut of the aluminum molding that goes from the side mirror back to the top of the quarterglass. I have a spare set of quarterglass available if needed.

im getting the 1/4s for a good trade but thanks any ways the car is compleatlygutted in side so the int dosent matter sooner or later its getting a 10pt cage,and is the 1/4" tape kit sortof like a double sided tape to seal the window?thanks for the help cant wait to get em in :nice:
