Hey guys, just got done installing some Ford Racing 18x9.5 Cobra R's. I went with 295 BFG's out back, and it seems to be rubbing my bassani tail pipes. I did a search and found a few guys with similar problems (especially bassani's), but no solutions. Did everyone go to a muffler shop and get the exhaust rebent or is there any other solution? BTW I also have a MM 1/4" spacer, no help, but made the wheels look better... Ideas? Thanks alot

All i could say is maybe run some 285 series tires instead or pay the shop to rebend the exhaust a tiny bit. When you did a search, were any of the 285/35/18 guys rubbing too?

i had a 1" spacer on my 17x9 cobra R's but w/the 18's they stick out of the fender too much...cuts up the tires and IMO looks kinda crappy. the 1/4 brought the wheels just about flush with the fender and I didn't need to use stud extentions.

I have an 1" to 1 1/2" gap between my pipe and wheel and that's with 255/40/17's. I wanted to put 315/35's on the rears but there's no way they'd fit without some major rubbing. :( :( :( About the biggest I could go is 275/40 on the rears.
