for my car from member here(thanks Jim:nice:) for really cheap. I can't wait to install them!
Now question is that is it possible to use short mid pipe from another manufacture likeMac? I like Prochamber sound, and would like to stick with it.

And there was someone posted little while ago that there is like this S shaped tool that helps greatly. does anyone know what that tool was?

congrats on your purchase of LT.
i saw that your location was state college. do you go to school up there?
i was there until a year ago. If i had known someone from SN was there we could've met. well anyway. i checked out your pics. nice car. did you get rid of your clear fogs already? if you don't need them they can be put to use by me. :D

ya i have them still. i'm working now, but going to penn state this comming semester.

Anyhow, can i use other manufacture mid pipe? or i have to use BBK one? if so, do they make short H pipe for LT?

as far as the tool goes, we had no idea we needed it for the install of my slp lts.. we just took a torch to a wrench and made our own :)

oh and congrats! you're gonna love em!

are you going to be using a lift? we did mine with jackstands and 3 floor jacks in a small garage, we had to drop the k-member. if you dont have a lift i wouldn't even waste time trying it without dropping it

I needed the S-shaped to install the BBK Tuned Lenght Shorty Headers. It might help with LT's not sure though.

Here's an install article for shorty's, it will help with your install of LT's.

Here's the wrench I refer to in the article.

I purchased my BBK Longtubes w/ the matching catted x-pipe from CJ's when I was at Carlisle. Mity2 did you get yours since your side exhaust are so quite too?

that, and i realized that i spent too much money making my car look good, and now car is all bark, with no bite:bang:. I need more POWER!!!!!!!!!!!

I got my C&L elbow from CJ's at the carlisle too. its little more expensive, but its hard to walk away when stuff is right fron of you u know?

Damn, mines too quiet - I ordered the "enhanced" exhaust, but I think they shipped me the regular exhaust. After the body shop installed it was to late.

Yeah, I know what you mean about the stuff right in front of you.

nah, chances are you ordered Enhanced one. Its just not loud at all. Because when I got mine, it look just like my magnaflow, and i remenber reading somewhere that enhanced one is shorter(which is not true), so i called and checked. I did get enhanced one. Its very well known for not loud...

www.fnsweet.com has a how to section with a very thorough LT install. I sorta used it on mine and didn't drop the K member because I had it on a lift. Probly shoulda tho so I would recommend it. As for the Midpipe, I got MAC headers and everyone told me to go with a MAC mid pipe to ensure fit, and it went right togehter. You can try a prochamber and pray that it works. I don't see why it wouldn't though. You can always get a shop to modify it a bit, I'm sure.

My BBK longtubes and catted x-pipe are in and the Mustang Dyno at Tapp Auto in Ottawa said HP was 261.2 @ 5250 RPM and the Torque was 283.8 @ 4500 RPM.

We used a lift to install the longtubes, so we did not remove the K-member either - it takes longer without removing the K-member by the way.
