Gear Install...????

i found his write up about installing gears in a mustang, it seems to be fairly simple by the way they described the install, and i have access to all of the tools mentioned in the article. i have the set of ford racing 4.10's sitting in the basement waitng for a new home in my rear end. i am just wondering is it really as easy as it sounds? i plan on using the method described in the write up to setup the pinion shims. i have plenty of spare time since my motor blew anyway so i figure its a good time to start? do i need anything besides the gears, crush sleeve, shim kit, and rtv, to do the swap? any more info is great. thanks

Personally it's something that I won't try. But if you have the car down and you can take out the rear to work on it outside the car than I say go for it.

Its pretty easy....i've done two so far and had them come out perfect. Just triple check everything before you drive and you should have no trouble.

And i'd get an extra crush sleeve to....its so easy to go a little too far with them.
