03 mustang cobra overheating

alright guys i have driven this car for 2 weeks and now it over heats out of no where. i heard about a tsb/recall on the cooling system and i have no idea what it is and can't find it on the net---or can anyone give me any reasons why this wouold happen . the fan kick on and all.

I have not heard about any overheating issues.(TSB) I would check all the visual stuff you can ( hoses, coolant, etc.) then if all is ok take into a dealership ASAP to have them look at it. Hopefully it is still under warranty for ya. :D
 
You would have to think that sucker is still under warranty. well, maybe not. I think the warranty on the 03's are running out. My 03 GT had until October.

They do run a bit warm, IMO. But it should not be like that. I would check or have it checked out. There has to be a problem.

Like stated above, check hose, Thermo...etc.. etc..

Are you beating the piss out of it? everyone gets on it, but hmmmm. Maybe you live where its like 90 degrees and humidity is through the roof :shrug:
 
Has the coolant been changed recently? If "yes" I bet your system needs to be burped. You have a air pocket in the engine and it boils at that point and causes a pressure block. Common problem with the 03/04s when the fluid is changed.
