me, personally for a jeep i would rather have a 302 based motor than a 351 just for the weight savings alone. also if your doing some offroading it isnt always about how much power you make but how it is geared.

I'm looking at the G Force T5, seems to be a good unit and the price ain't bad, I'll need a Jeep input shaft I think.

However, I found out something interesting when surfing advanced adapters' site, a adapter plate to use the stock ax15 trans with the 302 engine.
