window tint on dot matrix......

It looks cleaner on the inside rather than outside. If its on the inside you can't tell that there is a vinyl strip when looking from the outside. You can't even tell you have a vinyl strip from the inside either. Do it on the inside.

I agree with this guy..... I Had mine done today and i have my vinyl strip on the inside looks much better......Putting it on the outside in my opinion would look out of place.....You can still see the dot matrix when you put it on the inside but you have to look close.... So put it on the inside :nice: You want go wrong i promise.

I manage a stereo shop and I just had my tint guy put a black vinyl strip on the outside of my back window and it blends in very well. Yes, tinting is hard as hell to get good at. Our best tinter left to move to Cali a year ago and he could make a car look like it came off the showroom floor tinted from the factory. Our new guy hasn't been in it long enough and he has some trash in his tint. It's not a dust free environment, so alot of times you can't help it. The way a person treats their car has alot to do with it too. Like if they live on a dirt road and drive up and down the road with their windows down, all the dust, etc gets inside on the interior. That makes alot more trash float around while tinting the car...
