Engine running like hella crap

OK here's the story:

My alternator recently died on me. It drove home just fine. The engine had the usual acceleration that it had. After changing it for a new one, my engine suddenly had absolutely no acceleration power at full throttle. So, figuring it just needed a tune up, I changed the spark plugs (which were all in HAND TIGHT!!!?!?! WTFBBQ), oil, oil+air+fuel filter, and fixed some vacuum leaks. I also unplugged the battery to reset the computer. None of this has fixed it.

I also noticed, while letting it idle, that when I suddenly punch the throttle, it'll stumble and hesistate a bit, then rev (albeit a little slower than usual). I checked the throttle positioning sensor for incorrect voltage, and got ~0.9 volts idle and ~4.7 volts at max.

I'm thinking that it might be the oxygen sensor, or the mass air meter.

What do y'all think?

It's the mass air meter. I unplugged it, and now it rips off the tires (figuratively speaking).

I don't know what the hell I'm talking about really... But could it be the belt? Perhaps the tension isn't right? (since the alternator was replaced)

LOL, thanks for the advice. I've got one of those spring loaded tensioners which I don't think can be adjusted. Besides, the engine didn't sound right before either, so it couldn't have been that.

did you clean the mass sensor and if you did how did it run ?

If the mass air meter was dirty enough to need a good clean ide be worried about other things......

So, you just unplugged the mass air and plugged it back in, and now it runs fine?
