Went for another test drive monday going down SR500 1st. ok 2 nd ok hit 3rd miss shift then hit 3 rd again BAM clank clank :bang: . I instantly knew what happened! Called around today and i can get a tremic 500 i beleive and thats eveything i need shipped to my door for $1935.00 and will take 4 day's  That's tranny bellhousing shifter yoke spacer clutch fork all i need is a clutch! And i might as well replace it now so i dont spin it as well, being's how it's a stage 1 spec and i'll go to a 2 or 3 stage one? So for now i'll prob. spend the $400 or so get this one fixed and then the tremic. peace

hey john how about a g force tranny. i dont know what kindof shifter you have but you dont ahve to buy a new pro 5.0 when getting the tremec plus the t5's are lighter and smaller. btw i have a pretty much new stage 3 clutch disk laying around if you dont like the stage 2.

Drew P.M me or call me if you still have my number? What's the diffrence in this and a T-5? I have a pro 5.0 shifter now with the T-5. Or is this a g-force T-5?  peace

Im not totally sure but I think the G-force is a T-5 with beefy internals. From what I hear the rebuild is cheap and you can use the stock bellhousing. Anyone know where to pick up the kits and prices?

g-force transmission is expensive. just as expensive as a tremec, i think its 2000 or maybe it was 3000 for a complete one? the only disadvantage of the tremec right off is the weight, but a known reliable/strong transmission.

do a search for "g-force" in the 5.0 section and you should find the information.

Helical cut for the normal trans straight cut for the race version and clutchless shifting!! the regular g force trans is noisier than stock because of the angle the gears engage. I priced one out and it was 1100 for gears, 300 for mainshaft upgrade and 180 for rebuild. if you do it yourself you can get it all for under 2k easy. I plan on getting one i just need to save more.
