Pro toplines vs. thumpers

im glad you have good experience with mac, but anyone else who had their ehaders and H pipes can tell you thatt he ehaders are disposible (never will line b akc up again without being a whore), and the H pipes leak no matter how tight they are.....

Out of business or not, these heads flow damn near close to afr 185's, meaning that they flow better then the 165's, a 1300 dollar or so set of heads???

Honestly even if they did flow as great as you guys "claim" theres not proof. Protoplines site only shows the intake, or exhaust I forget which one. Until I see real #'s I will consider them junk. Also please don't compare them to afr's as afr's are proven.

Actually, their website shows BOTH intake and exhaust...

Intake Port Test Data @28" of water
.100 .200 .300 .400 .500 .600 .700
72 154 208 254 271 274 276

Exhaust Port Test Data @28" of water
.100 .200 .300 .400 .500 .600 .700
60 121 159 184 193 199 202

and this is straight from AFR's website...

AFR 165's

AFR 185's

The image may come out blurry... right click it and go to View Image.... you can clearly see that the ptls flow much more then the 165's and close with the 185's...

Thanks for posting the chart. If I can get my hands on a set I thinkI'm gonna go this route.
