What Is Your Production Series # ?

I noticed that not everyone lists (in their forum signature) their prod.series # issued by SVT for every Cobra . Now I imagine that perhaps a couple owners only wouldn't know it exists , but it would be kinda cool to see everyone's # (with also the int./ext. color) , like that who knows we might just meet our twin here like I did when I saw (on AutoTrader.com) #868 and it was a Mystic on top of it all ! I recorded the pic on my PC with the area code for keepsake / nostalgia / whatever .

It would be cool also to hear any related info about it (the #) . I know mine is an early production among the first 32 Valves issued ; so much so that I have the now-faded-down-to-one-signature head valve sticker (Built With Pride Signature sticker) ! :nonono: Unlike the later lucky ones who's sticker (rather METAL PLATE) will last much longer . I was wondering around what number in the series (around 96 1/2) they started to trade for that plate ?

I've had my 01 Laser Red Cobra for going on a month, I'm still waiting for the paperwork so I can send off for my #'s. I can't wait to get it though. I love my Cobra, best car ever, and it is even beating our 05 Caravan on gas mileage, 22.6 vs 17.3 :spot:

Oh Ya !

Forgot to mention I was on the phone with 1 800 FORD SVT about the plate and they said that there was a one year waiting time period to get the METAL PLATE and they didn't garanty that the same signatures would be on the plate since some assembly workers didn't work with 'em anymore :(

Also there is no available documentation on the history of the car and its builders , that SVT can provide ... oh well

I can't remember my # but I do know its fairly late production (Aug. 01), although I did get a fairly early production engine (Jan. 01)...and a Teksid block.

With the True Blue/Medium Parchment, mine is just 1 of 87 coupes made and True Blue was only produced on the Cobra in 2001 so its a rare beauty. I have not seen another TB Cobra coupe on the road since buying mine and that was going on 4 years ago.

I guess just a coincidence .... but funny just the same !

If ya look at my V.I.N. # & my series # .... the last three are reversed (V.I.N.) to complement the series #

Nice touch !

At first I thought I only had one buider for the engine too .... as it turns out the signature is just faded extensively !
