Ordered Saleen Center Caps, 1 of 4 don't fit, can u explain the difference? pictures

Measure the diameter of the caps. If it is between or equal to 2 7/16 and 2 1/2 inches then its real Saleen/Ford. If its bigger than 2 1/2 then its an AFS center cap. Either way Saleen not speedworx screwed up. Typical Saleen.

it certainly doesn't fit my Saleen replica wheel, unlike the other 3 center caps. so is it a safe assumption to say i have an AFS replica center cap?

There were 2 different size center caps for the factory Saleen wheels depending on when the wheels were made.
ME<--- Wondering how this one was Saleens fault.
For the thread starter, I see you are in SoCal, why not drive to Saleen to pick up/purchase parts? Why not get them from Joe @ Chicane?
Not to seem rude, but why should Saleen even care if their center caps fit the "Replica" wheels? All they should care about is if they fit the wheels that are OE.

Replica wheels are just that, replicas. They are exact copies. The Saleen center caps should fit the replicas. The only company that changes the size of the center caps is AFS wheels. Their center caps are larger. You might have gotten an '05 Saleen center cap by mistake or one of the odd sized center caps like what Saleen Mike said. You should see if Chicane will let trade that oversized center cap for one that would fit.

It is not Saleen's fault. Over the years(99-04), Saleen had their wheels produced by two different companies. The center hub for the caps are different sizes depending on which company made them. It is true that the knock off wheels use the larger cap. (2 7/16") I know Saleen usally ships out the smaller ones (2 5/16"). In my experience, most the factory 18's will take the small caps. The large cap will not fit in the smaller hub, but the smaller will work on the larger hub. (use a little silicon if it seems loose). Just my .02 to help you guys /gals out.
