Rough Idle + 6 Engine Codes **Help**

Well I put my car back together today and it's running very very bad.

When I start the car it has a very tough time Idling right, at first it's low then it will "rev" up on it's own and stay at a higher idle (around 2-3K) Then drop down again, it is very irritating.

I have the following mods done to it right now.

Mac LT's
Mac O/R H Pipe
Granatelli Big M 90 MAF
70mm TB
C&L Intake plenum
SCT Xcalibrator2 which is tuned for all those mods.

If I Tune it to stock it has 11 Engine codes.

I really don't know where to start, I know it has to be something with the O2 sensors, but what could it be.....could it be a vacum leak???

If someone could please help I'd appreciate it.

P0135 Upstream Heated Oxygen Sensor Heater circuit fault - Bank No. 1
P0155 Upstream Heated Oxygen Sensor circuit fault - Bank No. 2.
P0443 EVAP Canister Purge Control Solenoid or Valve Faulty
P1000 OBD-II Monitor Testing Incomplete.
P1409 EGR Vacuum Regulator circuit malfunction
P1451 Lack of Response From Passive Anti-Theft System Module - Engine Disabled

was that tuned with a mail order tune or on the dyno? Those EGR's can be pretty annoying, I'd definately check for any leaks around that and anywhere else.

Also does ayoneknow where I can find a diagram of all the vacum linesin the car?

I would contact them and see exactly what changes were made in the tune if I were you!

Well if I tune it back to stock the same problem happens, even worse.

I will email them today to see what was done.

Its weird because I have some of the exact same codes being thrown....i think they might all be related some how....maybe some kind of relay or something electrical is messed up.

Ok here's my thinking the o2's aren't seeing high enough temps causing the first 2 codes. Are they close enough? Did you or could you perhaps wrap the headers? Also sounds like a vacum leak to me somewhere. Double/triple check everything. Good luck

My o2 sensors don't heat up quick enough just driving around....but when i get on the highway they work fine... i have LT headers so they are moved back alittle farther, but it just started this and hasn't always been like that with my headers..i wonder if there is some kind of relay or fuse or sensor that controls the heater circuit and maybe it went out or something? I dunno....

you don't have to worry about the p1000, that will go away after it cycles I believe.

Your tuner can adjust an O2 sensor parameter (or two) for the long tubes. One is the delay and should be made larger for LTs. It is possible that the O2 sensors are not getting hot enough because the LT's provide more surface area near the sensors (so the heat is lost more quickly) and the sensors are farther back (gas is cooling off as it travels down the exhaust system). I have read a few threads where people have had to wrap their headers to improve O2 sensor performance. Anyway, ask you tuner about O2 transport delay and LT's and he should be able to fix the problem.

i have tried stock delay, LT delay and one twice as long as the LT delay and still no luck

ok after looking over some wiring diagrams i found out their connected to the #8 fuse under the stearing wheel labeld engine controls or something like that. from the top my fuse looked fine but when i pulled it sure enough it was toast. replaced it, cleared codes and im back in business

just wanted to post this up incase anyone else has this problem now they have someplace to start

hey i had the same problem wen i installed my Accufab throttle body and plenum.. wut fixed it was a lil sealent on everything that i put bak on the plenum..plenums and throttle bodys r known for leaking if not sealed correctly.. try this and let me kno how it goes
