Hey my friends 2003 v6 is not starting, everything works, and the car cranks when u turn the key but it is getting no fuel, and looks to not have spark, we check and theres juice going to the fuel pump, so it looks to need a pump, but why would it not get spark?
IF ITS READING NO FUEL DOES IT NOT SPARK OR DID SOMETHING ELES GO?
What can it be it only has 30,000 miles on it and ran fine 3weeks ago, But my friend went to NY for a vacation and just got back last night and todaY the car wouldnt start, btw we just put 5 gallons in so it has fuel.... Please help he needs his car for work..,. :(

Wait? So the fuel pump is working or not? It doesn't need to be reset? I'd simply try pushing the little red button if you haven't tried that already. It's possible someone bumped the car while he was gone, causing it to shut off.

What all have you checked out? Kinda of hard to diagnose something without knowing exactly what you've already looked over.

We did reset the fuel shut off(first thing we checked), The test light shows the fuel pump is getting juice, soo i know at least 95% sure it needs a pump.
Now the batteries fine cus the starter cranks the motor just fine, so thats ruled out, also there is no check engine lights comeing on, so thats ruled out...btw no fuel comes out of the shrater valve on the fuelrail..

now as far as spark is conserned, we took the wire off at the coil pack and put a screw driver in the wire (witch is conected to the plug) and touched and pulled away while crankin the motor and saw and herd no spark what so ever....
What could it be? What do we check next.

Do you have a car manual for it? I'm gonna thumb through mine. So are you saying there's no power coming from your coilpack? or the wire while its connected to your coil pack.
no he doesnt have a manual.
theres no "spark" comeing from the coil to spark plug wire. we didnt check the plug that goes from the ecu to the coil pack, will try that tommarrow what wires should be putting out + volts on that plug that plugs into the coil pack to ecu?

pull off your coil pack to see if there is any corrosion, water, cracking, or carbon buildup. It sounds to me like you have a faulty coil pack. Check the small primary wire connections to make sure they are clean and firmly in place as well. With the tab on the top, you should test for volts coming out of the 4th slot on the very far right of the connector to the coil pack. I'd contact ford because if it's still under warranty, you should be fine. Just make sure to clean up that coil pack real well and try again.
Firing order: 1,5 2,6 3,4

(tab is here on coil pack)
1 2 3
5 6 4
