Strange sound

Ive been getting this strange whirring type sound every once in awhile. I cant pinpoint where it is coming from but it seems go along with engine rpm. It almost sounds like it is coming from under the car or in the back. I know its vague but any ideas?

possible exhaust leak? they can make wierd noises... have someone cover your tail pipes and you feel around, if there is anything you can reach, youll find it

Does it happen when you're at cruising speed in 5th gear?

I get the same sound! Turn off your radio and it will go away if its the same sound i have. I think it has something to do with the Mach stero amplifiers or speaker in the rear.

Its like the radio sound you are talking about but its not it because it does it with the radio off.

It doesnt tick like an exhaust leak.

I notice it mostly when going from a stop. It doesnt do it every time either.
