I'm thinking of buying a v6 mustang stick and i've read good things about them. How are they to drive, i'm curious on how the tourqe curve is and what is the curb weight for a v6? Also, do they sell built internals for the 3.8?

read my sig for my mods, it was dyno'ed before i got it with those numbers, im not running that now, i need another tune, but that gives u an idea of what you expect

side note:
one thing that I always like about a turbo better is that it allows you to run an underdrive crank pullie. the sc pullie won't fit inside smaller crank pullies. I have actually had friends with put ud pullies in thier cars and then later try to do a sc. but then had to run to the junk yard becouse they trashed thier old stock pullie

yeah for the 4-5 hp you get not a big deal...I like the fact that there is no turbo lag with the blower....owning a turbo car now I can tell it's one of the most annoying things....im goin blower with my 6.

It all depends, the current setup that guy is selling reaches full boost at 2500 which isn't bad. If you have a 3000 stall converter in an automatic, you launch with everything and even a stick it wouldn't be bad assuming you had traction with a 3000 launch.

just wait a while......apparently a eaton style blower is in the works for newer 3.8's......on demand boost and reliability in one

but you'd probably be looking around 270-300 hp at the wheels after getting blown with around 11 psi boost

my passat is stock, without the turbo it can't get out of its own way, its the "proper" size turbo. for any street car, blower is the way to go....just power when you want it, no waiting. I know im going with the pro chargers system and intercooler...with some internals and boost 15psi, and should have all the power I need.

well now you are talking vw's. vw can't make an effective n/a motor for thier lives. once you turbo ANY vw motor its like you have a completely different machine. I knw this becouse I was considering working up my cabrio and did the research. I decided to stick whith cheap bolt ons when I found out that my motor n/a FULLY BIULT would not hit 200hp at the wheeles

my passat came from the factory with the turbo.....not an aftermarket kit.

the motor is stout enough to make 350 hp without a hiccup....but turbo lag is brutal

they advert that it does 350 hp with 11 psi....im planning on using a super six power pak motor upgrade so I can boost to 15psi then....the upgrade has hi flow heads, intake manifold, cam, and im going to put new rods and pistons in it to boost more....
