Why dont you actually do something that will give you some horsepower

MACH 1 SHAKER OMFG!!!!!!! WTF!!!!!!!!! *BASHBASHBASHBASH*

If you wanted great sound better than that POS, you could spend SO much less AND pay for installation and still get something better.

If you were really planning on a GTO though, no $3000 on your mustang will touch the GTO on performance unless you really lower the drive quality. Get an '05 though, they are much better :p

depends on what you wanna do. N/A supercharger? You could do heads/cams, exhaust and gears. Run right up around 3000 probably a little more. You could do cams, gears and exhaust...maybe some shocks and springs and save whats left.

cat back exhuast w/ off road h will give you enough sound and more..... i would do 4.10 gears, and some boltons..... like a CAI, throttle body, can get a set of cobra wheels for under 650 shipped, and lower it for under 200.....be a sweet looking, loud, quick stang... Just an idea....

Well i have to say i love GTOs But I was looking at my ride yesterday and I just fell in again

I dunno I am buying a Set a Saleen Rims and Pro line Springs this week
Do i really need to buy a hold new exhaust can i just buy new mufflers to get better sound?? I had a exhaust tell my the factory set up was not bad so just buy some flowmaster or turbo mufflers..
But What is the best cold air intake??

You dont "HAVE" to do a bunch of extra mods when buying a supercharger, but its a great idea, usually a kit comes with everything you need (i.e. fuel pump, electrical, etc) The thing is, you wont be able to find a supercharger kit for under 3200 ish $.... For the cat back question, you can just do mufflers, it will sound great, a pair of flowmaster mufflers sounds really good with stock h pipe, the offroad h pipe will just make it alot louder, and free up like 10 - 15 ish hp..... www.mustangexhuast.com can go there and listen to sound clips of a bunch of diffferent set ups, you will find that offroad hpipe with flows will be the love of your life. Anyways, hope that helps.

You can probably find a full supercharger setup for around $3000. You want to beat the piss out of GTO's, do some power mods and get your suspension setup right and u should be able to beat them. You want cheap power go with nitrous.

LCA's, 31 spline axles, 100 shot, tune, slicks, cams you should be able to beat GTO's with that. That should run you right around $3000.

Save it, trade the vert, and go for the Snake.....

Oh yeah, I forgot about the ford super charger kit. Now its my understanding that all you really need are new injectors, fuel pump, and tune for the "kit" while the supercharger itself is only around $2250 (??) so you can very well do that for about $3000 with no other mods is just fine!

is your vert stock? i would do a CAI, T/B, plenum. O/R pipe and cat back and have $$ left over. I heard gears are the way to go (havn't done them YET). I like the idea of getting a cobra and someone else said you could do a ford supercharger for 2200? hell i would do that if i had the $$$. i just blew about 1,500 in less than 3 weeks (not all car parts, damn fines). o well, what can you do right? "speed costs money, how fast do you want to go" ?

If I had $3000 I would make it a N/A beast, do all the exhaust, all the bolt ons, start on some good cams and internals.. and then I would start saving again for a S/C. Maybe a KB

another vote for the ford racing s/c

if you really do want power don't nickel and dime it with little bolt-ons like pulleys or cai's that'll give you 5-8hp

if you do get the s/c, and exhaust will actually be worth the cost as far as power goes

if you just want an all around nice ride, get the rims and springs you wanted and the shaker. you'd have enough for gears and a good quality exhaust (not weld-in's) and should still have a little money left over
