Mustang just died......

Hey guys...I need some help. Yesterday I was sitting at a light and it just died. It's a '93. So I put it in park and tried to start it....started right up. Put it in drive and it quit, no spudder or knocking, just stopped. So againg I put it in park and it started right up. I can hear the fuel pump working and I took it up to 3000rpm and slowly brought it back down to idle and it's fine, until I put in in gear, reverse, 1st, 2nd, drive, Odrive doesn't matter, just quits. I pulled it home with a toe rope and had it in neutral the whole time and it ran fine. Any ideas?

O2. Oxygen, not carbon monoxide.

For the record, I have no idea what the problem could be. Pull codes and see if anything pops up.

I just replaced the o2 sensor about 2 months ago, when I did the tune up. Could it really be the problem?

To me it sounds like something is up with your transmission. Just a guess though.

Sounds like its time for a t5 swap!

Can you hold your foot on the brake and give it gas to try to keep it running in drive?

Does it act like it wants to move or like stalling out a manual trans?
