95 Gt Vs 2000 Ram Air

I had an LS-1 a few years ago. I hated it. That's why I bought my stang. I'd rather have a stang doing 16's than a maro doing 12's. But that's my preference.

"I have no problem with my cousin's 99 C5 Vette...and this is going from a 60mph roll, stock engine...just S-Trim."

That's pretty cool. I bet you suprise a lot of people in your car. :nice:

Driver plays a role in every race...no matter who has the faster car. The faster car can win...the faster car can lose. One may think one can drive...but are they shifting quick enough or at the correct rpm?

I beat a zo6 to 100mph (from a stop) in my Gt I had...but is my car faster? Heck no:nice:

my best buddy has an 02 z28 with only exhaust and he ran a 12.56 @113 :hail2: they are badass u have to give um that but I hate chevy so I talk bad about um all the time. also remember they have alot of technology our cars dont stock for stock and they got 48 cubes on us which makes a huge difference. with my set up now my buddy does not usually beat me on the street but he hooks on the track I dont. I need slicks and then I think I can beat him on the track. but I beat ls1's all the time.... its all depends on the driver

Oh the memories :p

I've been to r-ville lately...just been messing around. I heard you raced John (98 Gt)...he called me and told me about it. He missed second and you went screaming by him...lol.

Yeah I don't really know if the 00 Formula was running what he was running. I know my car (even the "piece" that it is) would kill my old 2000 Gt and I'm running 10.6 (on my last run). Wasn't that what the formula said he ran? I think he beat us by a couple cars right?

WHERE'S R-VILLE?

I drove a sweet WS6 once and I wasn't too impressed. For a stock car it was fast, but overall, it wasn't THAT fast. I have never seen one at the track in stock trim in the 12's that I can remember. I have seen 13's many times and that is HCI mustang territory. I have messed around with a few, but with 315 dr's and 4.10's I have an advantage until 3rd gear.

Most Stock LS1's here at E-Town are in the low 13's. A few auoto's with crappy 2.73 rears were hitting a LS1 slow time of 13.5 . Again, most are low 13's right off the showroom floor.

Also remember, at the end of the quartermile the LS1 really shines & is going to pull like mad. It's going to seem like he hit NOS as your GT will fall farther and farther behind.

LS1'S have 6 speeds (better first gear), come with 3.42 rears, which make a diff. to stock geared stangs, and are stock with pretty good aluminum heads. So yeah, we got some work to do.
