Hesitation

Alright, I need as much help as possible. When I am driving my car and I am only turning about 2000 rpms, when I nail the gas to the floor, no matter what gear it is in, the car starts hesitating and continues to jump until my rpms get way up there. What do you all think the problem may be? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Ah, I came here to ask a very similar question. I go to shift and it seems to hiccup once or twice right away, but that's about it for me. It feels almost like the clutch is slipping, but its only 5k miles old. I was thinking fuel filter or spark plugs or something like that. Anyone have any ideas for the 3 of us?

Now it seems that it is gettin worse. I was told fuel filter by somone I know but I wanna make sure before I actually go out and buy one. And if it is the fuel filter, could anyone tell me how to change it or if it would be easier to have someone else change it for me?

to change the filter, is pretty easy, and they dotn cost that much, u gotta get the lil filter puller kit thing at like an autozone, its these lil plastic rings u slip in between the filter and the fuel line on either side of the filter, and the lil plastic rings help seperate it, its really really easy, id do it myself if i was you, just watch for gas falling on ur face, some will leak out, just lol, have ur mouth closed, but id definately do that myself, iv changed mine twice already, so its not the filter, iv ran injector cleaner through it, now as far as then injectors being CLEANED CLEANED, no i havent, and the plugs and wires was an issue at one time but i replaced them, that was the cause, the 3rd cylinder wire was burnt in half, so i was only running on 5, so yea check the plugs and wires

there ya go, i was about to say..check those wires, my car was doing that, and come to find out, the 3rd cylinder wire was broken in half?? it melted itself on something, replaced it and oh baby! momma puts me back in my seat again
