Hey peeps hoping i could get some info on this .....i was wondering if i could put a turbo on my already blown 03 gt vert saleen kit installed all fuel upgrades done ,complete exaust headers gears frame connectors done ,i wouldnt do this without upgrading internals ,but i was just curious if it can be done,i understand i could get the added power from nitrous but it would be pretty cool huh...and if it can be done  is a kit available any info appreciated thank you.

Edit:
Are you talking about running the blower and turbo together? :rlaugh:

i remember reading somewhere bout it to,but i cant seem to find the page again,it would be cool to do it ,i go to the track almost every weekend my buddy races bikes for point and $$$ ....i heard of some pros running it but street cars dunno,i appreciate your reply thank you

There was someone on here that raced someone with a wrx sc/turbo i think. the figures only came up a little bit more than with one power adder and if you tweeked the the boost it would be faster than the dual combo.

yes, it is possible. do i know anything about it, no. be ready to drop some serious coin on it too. i've actually seen a write up on it done on a wrx, at least i think it was a wrx if i remember correctly

*edit* i guess it was a wrx after all, lol

I asked a question almost similar to that a while back, except mine was adding a nice centrifugal to an 03 Cobra. It seemed like a perfect match. Get that thing up and running with the roots and then have that centrifugal kick in. It would be even better when the turbo boost kicks in.
I forgot all of the responses but alot of people said that the tune would be really hard and that the centrifugals boost coming in would upset the roots boost.
But someone said that a magazine did it with a truck. I don't know if it's been done with a Stang though. Try it and lets see it. :nice:

I did a little research on this back in High School. Yes it is possible. You could have the roots blower boost until the turbo spooled and then have a electromagnetic clutch (think A/C clutch) disengage the blower once the turbo's boost was above a certain point. In my opinion it wouldn't be worth it. Think of all the intake piping you would have to run. Yeah you could do it to be different but why?
