4.6 3v Cams

if you go to that other forum, blow by racing has been saying that the solid lifter is the delay of the cams. they had a problem with it and destoyed lots of things. supposedly they were getting it on the dyno a few weeks ago, but still no dyno....this was posted on the 25th.....

Hey, I am Always game for giving Jonny Z a hard time, but I have to take credit for this one. I wanted to try out the new lifters that we had sitting hear and thats was a bad call I guess. I know everyone is excited to see some of the results. Beleive me, I am too. The bumps in the road alway occur when you least expect it. We weren't expecting the damage to be as bad as it was, but Everything has been fix and no more playing around. We will be on a dyno by the weekend and stock hydrualic lifter will be used to insure no more delay. We will follow up with a solid lifter swap later to show how much they are worth. Give a couple more days and we will have some results..

Thank You

I'm going to shoot Crower another email to see what the update is on their cams.

Brian@Crower is out of the office until Aug. 10th, so i'll have to wait until then for a response.

Cams are like the mythical Unicorn on 05s. There are stories of them being out there, but nobody can actually get their hands on a pair and put up some numbers. The other issue is only one company has valves and none have springs yet.

I heard that Crower did not even have the cams on the drawing board yet! BlowByBlow should have something by the way of Dyno numbers up this weekend, seems they had to do a lot of repairs after the little fiasco with the parts coming loose and FUBAR'ing the heads.
