I just upgraded to a Granatelli rear main gridle and it is putting dents the spare wheel well under the car. Has anyone had this happen, is this normal? Should I worry?
The technical term for this is "Rev-Hone" Defined as letting nature take its course.
Use of the term in a sentence...
If the machinist did not hone the cyl bore to the proper size, you can simply rev-hone the bore with the piston. Run at about 6,000rpm for the first ten minutes after initial startup and all your problems should be solved.
Ive got the girdle above, with the recessed bolts, and it still hits the spare well. Oh well, Im just going to let it hit a few times and it should be good.

Here is how it sits now. Ive got coilovers on the front and eibach pro kit on the back. The right rear rubs under hard cornering. I think I just need stiffer springs in the back.
