we looked at an 03 and they wanted 24k for it... if we had bought it we would have ended up with like $480 @ a little over 5% or so.

i pay like $200 on the '97 right now @ 3.9%. Insurance for all 4 cars is $250/month. 25, married and no tickets. :D

03 Cobra

Baught mine 3 days ago, paid a little under 28 for it. It is a 10th annaversery drop top with 24K miles on it. Finianced 30K and the payment is 503.......Man I love this car, and I thaught I loved the 99 V6 that I traded in :) did I mention I love this car?
On another note....where is the best place to start to learn more about different modifications and more about these cars in general?

01 cobra

I bought my 01 last november with just under 18k for 18,500. 5 years at 332 a month. By the way, my insurance in Illinois is under 90 a month with all the bells and whistles on my premium (27 and married)

hey I don't own a mustang cobra but I am a car salesman in texas. Our sales tax is 6.25% plus license fees are about $200.00 bucks. So it is pretty easy to find out what the cost of the vehicle will be. Also ford Motor credit lowest rate right now is 6.29%. With good credit you could strech your payments to about 72 months just aslong as the car is a 2002 or newer. Also you could get a lower interest rate from a local credit union.

I financed a '96 cobra at 10,900 at 5.8% and my payments came out to about 212.00 but I pay 1200 a month. Insurance is runnin me about 62 dollars for liability from USAA. The car had I think 67k on it when I got it.

To Chuckster88: were you looking for the facts and figures of a new cobra or a used cobra?

Purchased my 01 (early this year) w/17k mi for $18.5 It was very well treated & already had a few mods (exhaust, pulleys, frame stabilizer, cai). Financed 100% @ 5.4% at my credit union for $430/mo. Insurance runing me $75/mo.

I bought my 98 last June for $9,700 $0 down 5% interest and it was $230 a month

Bought my 99 Vert last month for $15,500 $0 down 10% interest (best buy can eat a ****) and my payments are $345

$503 a month at 0% for 5 years - traded in my 2000 TRD Supercharged Solara....had dealer install Lightbar and Saleen Spoiler plus extended warranty

$34,761 out the door.

I've been putting down a lot more than that over the years to pay her off early.....7 more months!!!

in NY i'm paying almost $300 a month for insurance.....including a Taurus and Acura...
