where does the orifice tube go? and if it is in the wrong place will i make the compressor clutch stop,

two hard lines running from the front of the car on the condensor (small looking radiator infront of your reg. radiator) the line on the bottem runs by your pass. header and comes up into your firewall pass. side the orfice tube is in that bottem line, you need to replace the whole line, the a/c guys that did mine just installed a orfice tube holder, that way next time it can be taken apart and replaced. ive had ice cold a/c all summer. not sure about the damage if it goes in the wrong place, good luck!
