How to make a 67 handle

The only reason to use the MII setup is to gain enough room for the 427SOHC, or if you can't find one in your salvage yard (LOL) one of them there newfangled MOD motors.

My TCP rack and pinion was a bolt-in:

Another vote for TCP, just finished the install

The old standby TCP R&P appears to still be the class of the field, but the trick is to find one......

I ordered mines last month along with the subframes and motor mounts and got it shipped to my door in less then a week from Chassisworks. It seems like Chris Alston is doing good with TCP, at least that was my experience

what about the fat man fabrication front end kit???
if you still have a few years before you do any serious racing and if money is any kind of an issue this would be a good kit. it comes with tubular lower control arms and a coilover kit. you will need to get the spindle and brakes off of a newer car (94') and its only about $2000.
it is another option to look at anyway.......

RGS have a look at www.randallsrack.com i personally plan on getting my rack kit from him, since it seems to work with most headers, i'm sure randy can let you know what headers he has encountered fitment issue with though. all in all it looks like a well designed and engineered kit and for the price it looks real good. i beleive randy has said there is some loss of turning radius but it's minor and i think it can be corrected pretty easily with one of pro motorsports bumpsteer corrector kits. check it out and se how you like it. tell him i sent ya.

I have Randalls kit in my 66 coupe. I just finished installing it and getting it running after a year, along with all new drivetrain. Don't think twice about ordering Randalls, it is awesome, and he really is great to deal with. I had a problem and he went out of his way to help.
As far as the performance of the car it is unbeleavable. Before throwing the car into a corner with speed was exciting because I thought I was gonna die, now it's just fun!

Randalls, huh

This is the first that I heard of Randalls... Do you have any idea where this rack is from, or does he manufacture it himself?

the rack itself is a modified GM J-car rack but everything else is built by him. for the money spent i don't think there is a better power rack kit out there. the TCP manual rack costs about the same but their power rack is almost 1000 bucks more.
