I just put on my bassani catted X, which by the way sounds beautiful with my flowmasters, but thats just me, anyways i noticed that it hangs really low and i was wondering if this was normal or if maybe they screwed up a bit. i got a couple of pics of it, but its being stupid and just sticks on uploading please wait. The suspension question is that i've been notcing a clunk kind of sound from i think just the driver's side front tire area. It mainly does it when coming to a stop and can hear it on bumps so if u guys got any suggestions, i'd really appreciate it.

..ok that's weird, I was just searching for threads on something like that.

I've got a bassani catted x on my cobra too and when I go over bumps at lower speeds, or over a rough section while braking I get lots of clunking from the driver's side front area. I'm just trying to figure out if its something to do with the suspension, the brake calipers, or now maybe its the exhaust..... would the x-pipe have enough play down there that its moving side to side or up and down and bumping into stuff?

I had the same sound on mine kind of a clunking sound on bumps and stop starts. It drove me crazy until I figured out what it was.btw I also have a catted bassani x pipe.On my car it was the A/C dripping water on my exhaust and when it would hit the converter it would make a loud pop because of the water boiling off.I dont know if this is the same sound as you have, but on mine it sounded like somthing was loose underneath.

Actually the clunking noise was there before the exhaust so thats why its got me concered. My cars lowered the the catts sit about 5in or so off the ground which seems too low and also the hanger on the x-pipe seemed too low as well b/c i had to stretch the hell out of the stock bracket to get it on to the bassani. thats kinda why its got me concerend b/c i heard bassani gave the best ground clearance
